Description

Poster announcing requests by the Board of Trustees of the City of Ilion [NY] related to the observance of funeral ceremonies on April 19, 1865. The Trustees request that businesses be closed and flags flown at half-mast, and that citizens "refrain from the performance of secular employments," attend religious services, and display "some emblem of mourning."
